Hearing on National Bottle Bill in US Senate July 11, 2002

In February I posted a link to the floor statement of Senator Jim Jeffords regarding his proposed National Bottle Bill. In July of 2002 the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works had a hearing called "Recycling: Federal Procurement and Beverage Container Recycling Programs". The testimony and data presented in this hearing really show the great benefits of a Bottle Bill. I would recommend that everyone take a few minutes to look through this report.
